The Dream
We dream of a region where child poverty is tackled head-on, where insecure work and social exclusion are relics of the past. Where our towns are revived, our landscapes protected, and our culture, dialect, and traditions cherished.
We dream of a Yorkshire where no one is left behind, where people flourish, solidarity prevails, and pride in place runs deep.
We dream of a Yorkshire where decisions are shaped by local communities, not dictated by Westminster’s politicians or faceless bureaucrats. A Yorkshire where the people are sovereign and actively participate in shaping their community life and public services.
We dream of a motherland where, just as happened to David, when the people lie down in green pastures and walk by still waters, their soul is restored.
To summarise, we dream of a Yorkshire of dignity, hope, and freedom.
