Volunteer
Liberating Yorkshire is a small informal group that is still relatively new that’s looking to expand. We need volunteers with different skill sets and areas of knowledge who are willing to help us. For example, we need volunteers:
- willing to Collect signatures on a petition,
- to write letters to the local press or their MP,
- organise media stunts to generate awareness,
- to fundraise,
- to spread the group's message using their social media,
- to give TV and radio interviews,
- to meet with decision-makers.
Last but certainly not least, we need volunteers to form a management committee to guide the whole process, build on our initial successes, and secure Liberating Yorkshires’ future.
You do not need to live in Yorkshire to volunteer, but you must be committed to the group’s objectives, as set out on this website.
